Leadership coaching for owners
Owners rarely get coached. Ali Sedighi coaches owners on the practical side of leadership: how to delegate without losing quality, how to run a leadership meeting, how to manage a manager for the first time, and how to stop being the person everything waits for. It is operational, not motivational, from someone who has founded eight companies.
What you leave with
An owner who leads through managers and a cadence, with fewer decisions on their desk every month.

- Templates for one to ones, leadership meetings and quarterly planning
- Coaching on real situations as they happen, by text or call
- A ninety day review of what changed in your week
How it runs
01Baseline
We look at your calendar, inbox and decisions for two weeks. Where your time goes is the truth about how the company runs.
02Plan
Together we pick the three habits that would change your week most and the decisions to delegate first.
03Practise
Fortnightly sessions on real situations, with homework and Ali reachable between them.
04Review
Every ninety days we measure what left your desk and reset the plan.
Engagement and fees
Advisory Retainer band, from $8K per month, including fortnightly sessions and access between them. A $499 Strategy Session (90 minutes) is the way to start. Outcome based, never hourly. Every engagement is scoped after a call and confirmed in writing. See consultations and fees.
Coaching that is about the business
This is not therapy and not cheerleading. Sessions start with what happened in the business and end with what you will do differently. If your dispatcher keeps escalating, we work on the standard you set and the question you ask. If your new sales manager is quiet, we work on how you run the meeting. Ali draws on his own mistakes as a founder of eight companies and on what he sees across his team's engagements.
Where a problem needs a system rather than a conversation, a specialist from the team can build it.
The habits that move an owner out of the day to day
A weekly leadership meeting with a scorecard and an agenda you do not write yourself. One to ones with each manager where they bring the problems and the proposed answers. A rule for which decisions you make and which you only hear about. A calendar that reserves time for work only you can do. None of these are complicated. All are hard to keep without someone asking each fortnight whether you did.
That accountability is most of what coaching provides.
What to prepare and common mistakes
Two weeks of honest calendar and a list of the last twenty decisions that reached you. The names of your managers and what you think of each. Permission for Ali to be direct, which is the part most owners find hardest.
The common mistake is treating coaching as a place to vent and leaving the business unchanged. The second is delegating responsibility without authority, so the manager has the blame and you still have the decision. We watch for both, and we say so.
Questions about this service
Is the coaching with Ali himself?
Yes. Leadership coaching is done by Ali personally, by video, phone or in person in Vancouver. He is reachable by text and email between sessions and replies within one business day.
How is this different from a fractional COO?
Coaching changes how you lead. A fractional COO changes how the company operates by installing cadence and processes with your managers. Many owners do both, and some start with coaching to decide.
Do you coach our managers too?
The engagement is for the owner. Where managers need support, we can add sessions or bring a specialist for a specific skill. Group sessions are available when a whole team moves to a new cadence.
How long do owners usually stay in coaching?
Long enough to see the habits hold through a busy season, usually two or three quarters. Some stay on a lighter rhythm for years because the conversation keeps them honest. You can stop at the end of any month.
