Growth Partner program
The Growth Partner program is for Canadian companies doing roughly $500K to $30M with proven demand and not enough capacity to meet it. Ali's team of more than thirty specialists embeds across marketing, sales, operations, finance and technology, and we are paid through revenue share, equity or a hybrid retainer plus bonus. It is the closest thing to a co founder who brings a whole team.
What you leave with
A partner team across every growth function, paid on the results it produces, with Ali leading it personally.
Who it is for
- Owners with more demand than they can serve and no wish to build five departments
- Companies at $500K to $30M in revenue with margins that support a growth share
- Investors who want an operating partner in a business they own
What we deliver
- A growth plan across marketing, sales, operations, finance and technology
- Specialists embedded by function, from paid media to finance to developers
- A shared scorecard that defines how results and payment are measured
- Systems and documentation owned by your company from day one
- A written exit path for both sides, including how the relationship ends well
How it runs
01Qualify
We review your revenue, margins, demand signals and capacity, and we say early if the fit is not there.
02Term sheet
We agree the structure, the scorecard and the review points. Your lawyer reviews it.
03Embed
Specialists join by function in a sequence agreed in the plan. Ali leads from the first week.
04Grow and review
Quarterly, we review results against the scorecard and adjust scope and terms as agreed.
Engagement and fees
Revenue share, equity or a hybrid retainer plus bonus, agreed in a term sheet reviewed by your lawyer. For Canadian companies doing roughly $500K to $30M with proven demand. Every engagement is scoped after a call and confirmed in writing. See consultations and fees.
Why we take results based terms
Ali has founded eight companies since 2007 and has run marketing and technology for his own agencies and for clients across Canada. Those agencies publish their results at hvac.agency, including HVACDeal.ca at more than 500 leads and 12:1 ROI and BCWide.ca at three times the leads in 90 days. When demand is proven, the constraint is execution, and execution is what a team does well. Sharing in the outcome aligns both sides and lets a company get a full team before it could afford one on payroll.
Who qualifies and who does not
You qualify when there is clear demand you are failing to capture, your margins can carry a share, you are willing to give the team real authority, and you are in it for years rather than a quarter. You do not qualify when the product is unproven, when the owner wants to approve every decision, or when the goal is a quick sale. For those cases our standard retainers or a Strategy Session are the honest recommendation, and for a sale BizSell.ca is the right door.
How the terms protect you
Every term sheet includes a scorecard both sides agree before work starts, quarterly reviews, caps and floors where appropriate, and an exit path. Your lawyer reviews the agreement. All accounts, systems and documentation are in your company's name from the first day. Equity, where it is part of the structure, is documented by your lawyer and registered advisers.
Common mistake: treating the partner team as a vendor to be managed rather than a partner to be trusted with a seat.
Questions about this service
How is the team paid?
Through revenue share, equity or a hybrid of a reduced retainer plus a bonus on results, agreed in a term sheet before work begins. The structure depends on your margins and how much risk each side carries.
What size of company is this for?
Canadian companies doing roughly $500K to $30M in annual revenue with proven demand. Below that range the share rarely covers a team. Above it, an Enterprise Partnership with custom terms is usually the better structure.
What does proven demand mean?
You are turning work away, your lead flow exceeds your capacity to follow up, or your close rate on inbound is strong and you simply cannot serve more. If demand is unproven, we recommend a Strategy Session and a smaller engagement first.
How does it end?
The term sheet includes an exit path with notice periods and how any share or equity is treated. The goal is a company with its own team and systems, so documentation and ownership sit with you from day one.
