The situation
A trades services brand with a province-wide ambition needed results quickly. It had a short window to prove that marketing could keep crews busy before the owner committed to further growth, and it could not afford a slow build. A single hire would have spent the first months learning, and a vendor would have delivered one channel. The brand needed strategy, site, campaigns, tracking and follow-up process all running inside a quarter.
What was done
- Started with a one-week diagnostic of services, margins, service area and existing enquiries
- Deployed a strategist, a developer, a paid media specialist and a content specialist at once
- Launched landing pages and campaigns for the highest-margin services first
- Set a weekly scorecard of leads, cost per lead and booked jobs reviewed with the owner
- Fixed the enquiry response process in the office in parallel with the campaigns
- Expanded to further services and areas only after the first ones proved out
What it shows about teams
Speed comes from parallel work. A strategist, a developer, a paid media specialist and a content specialist started in the same week, each on their own piece of the plan, while the office process was fixed at the same time. One person cannot do that in ninety days and a vendor will not touch the office. When we install an outsourced growth team or an interim executive with specialists behind them, this is the pace the structure is built for.
